Matt has been the Youth Director at CPC since June 2008. He grew up in Merced California, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from California State University, Fresno. Matt also earned a Master of Divinity  degree from Princeton Theological Seminary. He is certified ready to receive a call with the Stockton Presbytery and is awaiting ordination. Matt has been married to his wife Cari since June 2005 and in November 2008 they had their first child. His love for his family and the youth are only exceeded by his love for God.

Matt leads the Jr. High and High School ministries at CPC. This includes weekly outreach nights, weekly in-depth bible studies, leadership and discipleship programs, counseling, events and resources for parents, Sunday School, hanging out, and other forms of general merriment.
